Welcome to the Georgia Department of Transportation's I-16/I-75 Improvement Project Public Information Source

This website has been designed for the citizens of Greater Macon to provide detailed project information and to answer commonly asked questions.  Information regarding the project will be updated periodically as the project progresses.  We invite you to visit the site often for the most up-to-date information regarding public meetings, milestones and overall progress.

A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2007 at the Macon Centreplex Ballroom (200 Coliseum Drive, Macon, Georgia, 31217) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  

The draft Environmental Assessment (EA) was approved by
FHWA on October 22, 2007. Copies of the document will be available for public review beginning November 26, 2007 at the following locations:
